Sources have told ESPN that LAFC has hired Steve Cherundolo to be its next manager, with an announcement expected later on Monday.
Bob Bradley parted ways with LAFC after his contract expired. Bradley eventually took over at Toronto FC.

Cherundolo, who was promoted from within after managing the Las Vegas Lights in the USL Championship last season, has been apprenticeship for a long time. The Lights finished last in the USL's Pacific Division with a record of 6-23-3 and were an LAFC affiliate.
Cherundolo spent several years in a variety of roles, including assistant coaching positions with the reserve and first teams of Hannover 96, as well as similar positions with VfB Stuttgart, the U.S. men's national team and Germany. He was the head coach of the U-15 and U 17 teams.
Cherundolo's career as a player with the club ended after 15 years. He made more than 400 first-team appearances.
The right back made 87 appearances and scored two goals for the U.S. men's national team. He saw the field in the 2006 and 2010 World Cup.
Cherundolo takes over a side. LAFC exercised the option on Carlos Vela, which will only last through June, leaving the former Mexico international with the option of moving elsewhere. Atuesta has been transferred to Palmeiras. Diego is expected to make his permanent move to Fenerbahce.
Cherundolo will have a player who scored 14 goals and added two assists in Cristian Arango.
