Ohio State is having a good couple of days. The Ohio State football team got a commitment from a player during the Under Armour All-America Game after their victory over Utah in the Rose Bowl.

Larry Johnson is the main reason I picked Ohio State. He told On3's Joseph Hastings that he felt like it would be a great experience. Real close. After every game, he called me and said, "You messed up on this." You messed up on that.

He's the 38th player overall and the fourth player at his position in the rankings.

Bradley Chubb had 25 sacks and 54.5 tackles for loss over his final three years at North Carolina State before becoming a top-five pick. Drawing a parallel to Chubb is lofty praise, and explained what Abor can bring to the table.

He will throw you aside if he gets you on your heels. Active hands. Constantly disengages to make plays. A natural pass-rusher who is particularly dangerous when lined up wide. The shows encourage flexibility and bend in relation to the size. Improved range in junior season makes it more fluid. When he gets home, he runs the arcs well and goes for the ball. Instincts and feel for rushing the passer are obvious. It was great to set you up outside and counter inside.

As a junior at Duncanville High School, Abor lined up in multiple positions along the defensive line, but spent most of his time on the edge.
His frame makes him better suited to an edge role. Walter Nolen is the top defensive lineman in the country. Nolen has more weight on him than Abor.

Regardless of where he's starting, Abor will spend a lot of time in the pocket harassing opposing quarterbacks.

Power Five programs are now using the spread and read-option more and more, and Rushing the passer is more important than ever. It's not a coincidence that Alabama, Ohio State, and other College Football Playoff regulars send defensive linemen to the NFL.

Abor is going to be a big difference-maker when he arrives in Ohio.

One of the biggest strengths of the team had fallen off, as evidenced by Ohio State's loss to Michigan.

The program might be able to return to the days when Joey Bosa, Nick Bosa and Chase Young were scaring opposing quarterbacks.
