Jerry Jones said that the Cowboys fear that wide receiver Michael Gallup tore his knee in Sunday's loss to Arizona.

The diagnosis is pending further tests, which would rule Gallup out for the rest of the season.

Gallup's left knee buckled as he turned to catch a 21-yard touchdown pass. He clutched his knee after the officials said the catch was good. He went to the medical tent after walking off the field.

Gallup will be an unrestricted free agent when the season is over.

He missed seven games due to a calf injury. Entering Sunday, he had 32 catches for 409 yards and a touchdown, and caught three passes for 36 yards and a touchdown.

With Gallup out, the Cowboys moved Cedrick Wilson into the No. 3 receiver role. The Cowboys were able to get along without Gallup early in the season, but they struggled against Arizona on Sunday.

The loss dropped Dallas to the 4th seed.
