The electric vehicle company delivered a record number of vehicles in the third quarter and produced a record number of vehicles. Model 3 and Y were the vehicles that were delivered. The total deliveries for the year are over a million.
The total vehicle deliveries are up from last year. According to data from FactSet, the company would deliver 267,000 vehicles in the fourth quarter and 897,000 vehicles for the year.
"Our delivery count should be viewed as slightly conservative, as we only count a car as delivered if it is transferred to the customer and all paperwork is correct," said the company in its report.

According to CNBC, Musk wants to increase the sales volume of the company to 20 million annually over the next nine years, and expects increased production to come when the German and Austin factories are up and running.
It is not known if Musk made similar remarks in the fourth quarter, but Insider previously reported that he told workers to go super hardcore in the third quarter.
