The Platinum Select Mastercard® is a card that many people haven't applied for in the past, and is easy to be approved for, has an excellent welcome bonus, and can help you earn elite status.

If you don't have it already, I want to give you seven reasons to apply for this card. Check out my review of the card for a more detailed look. Let's get right into it.

You can earn 65,000 AAdvantage bonus miles.

After spending $4,000 in the first four months, the Citi AAdvantage Business Card will give you a welcome bonus of 65,000 AAdvantage bonus miles. One of the best credit card bonuses is the AAdvantage miles bonus, which is worth nearly $1,000, because I value them at 1.5 cents each.

It would take you just shy of 70,000 AAdvantage miles to fly from the United States to Europe, Asia, the Middle East, India, South America, and more. A one-way business class ticket between the United States and South Africa can be had for 75,000 AAdvantage miles.

My favorite use of AAdvantage miles is for travel on the two airlines, which offer excellent business class products. One of my favorite uses of AAdvantage miles was to redeem 75,000 miles to fly to Cape Town from Dallas to Miami on a business class flight.

There are more ways to redeem AAdvantage miles.

You can redeem miles for travel in the Qsuites.

AAdvantage elite status is earned with spending.

Changes have been made to the American AAdvantage program. It is possible to earn American AAdvantage elite status through credit card spending. Spending on the card will get you Loyalty Points if you earn the welcome bonus.

I don't think it's worth it for everyone to try to earn elite status through credit card spending Many people are spending a lot of money on AAdvantage credit cards in order to earn elite status, and this is a huge change to how status is earned.

If you spend $200,000 on the Citi AAdvantage Business Card, you'll get top-tier Executive Platinum status. You can take a hybrid approach and earn status through both credit card spending and travel.

Credit card spending can earn you AAdvantage elite status.

The first year is free of the annual fee.

The Citi AAdvantage Business Card has an annual fee of 99 cents, but it is free for the first year. It is difficult to beat the combination of a free annual fee and a welcome bonus.

The card doesn't count towards the end of the game.

If you have opened five or more new card accounts in the past 24 months, you won't be approved for a Chase card.

Only certain cards count towards that limit. Most business credit card applications don't count towards the limit. These cards do not show on your credit report. If you want a great credit card but don't want to increase your count towards the limit, this is a reason to pick up this card.

There are no restrictive eligibility requirements.

There are a variety of eligibility restrictions for card issuers. The less restrictive rules of this card are listed. Here are the terms for the business card.

If you have received a new account bonus in the past 48 months, American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles are not available.

If you have received a new cardmember bonus on this card in the past 48 months, you are not eligible for this card. You can still get the bonus on this card if you have any of the Citi AAdvantage personal cards. Lots of people should be eligible for the bonus since it means that.

The card has very little requirements in terms of eligibility.

It was easy to approve the card.

The Citi AAdvantage Business Card is one of the easier business credit cards to be approved for, though we don't know the card issuer's standards. It is assumed that you have good or excellent credit.

If you have been unsuccessful in getting approved for a Chase card in the past, it might be worth giving a Citi business credit card a try.

Finnair business class is where you can redeem AAdvantage miles.

The bag fee is the first checked bag fee.

You can get a first checked bag free on domestic American Airlines flights if you have the Citi AAdvantage Business Card. You don't have to pay with the card to use this perk, but you have to be on the reservation. Up to four additional passengers can also benefit from this benefit.

American charges $30 per checked bag, for a total of $60. If you had four friends, you can save up to $300 on a ticket.

A first checked bag is free with the card.

The annual fee is not charged on the Citi AAdvantage Business Card. This is a card that many people don't have and are eligible for, which will make it more interesting. Premium travel experiences can be obtained with 65,000 AAdvantage miles.

Spending on this card will now count towards elite status, which I know will interest many members.
