The mummy of Amenhotep I had "unprecedented detail" in the images, according to a professor.

Amenhotep was the second Pharaoh of Egypt's 18th dynasty and ruled for over two decades.

The scans showed that the Pharaoh was 5 feet, 6 inches tall, had a narrow chin, curly hair, and a pierced left ear.
