The section of counter space that is used for the spice rack may be looking a little rough, and in need of some type of organization. If this is a task you want to tackle, and you really want to give your herbs and spices a new look, here are some free, downloadable andprintable labels you can use.
Spice jars are one of the container options.

It depends on how you use your spices. A lot of people always have a few staple seasonings on hand (in some cases, just salt and pepper), and then purchase new herbs and spices individually as they are needed for recipes. A collection of different sizes, brands, and types of jars is what this typically results in. Again, is perfectly fine.
It may be a good idea to buy spices in bulk if you cook a lot of dishes. One- or two-pound bags or canisters are not necessarily massive, industrial-sized bags. You probably want to put the spices in smaller containers.
If you want to make your jars look more put together, you can use uniform labels, peeling the original labels off your existing jars, buying a set of matching jars for your spices, or repurposing a variety of previously used jars.
