Key West police are looking for two people who lit a Christmas tree on fire in front of the Key West buoy, causing extensive damage to the landmark.

The Key West Police Department is looking for two people who burned a part of the famous Southernmost Point buoy on New Year's Day. Two males lit a Christmas tree on fire in front of a buoy. The cement monument that reads "90 miles to Cuba, Southernmost Point, Continental U.S.A" was burned down on Saturday. The marker is red, yellow, black and white.
