The Core i9-12900K is the processor that Intel has demonstrated can work with the PM1743 The platform demonstrated a throughput of almost 14 gigaflops in the IOMeter benchmark. The company was going to show the demo in person, however, they are no longer going in person. Ryan Shrout, Intel's chief performance strategist, decided to share the demo publicly. The system used for the demonstration included a Core i9-12900K processor and an EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics board. The PM1743 was hooked up by Intel using a special interposer card. For those who need to load huge games, work with large 8K video files or ultra-high-resolution images, the added performance will be appreciated. There is a small catch with this demo. Apparently, the PM1743 will be one of the first drives to ship, so Intel decided to use this SSD for the demonstration. The PM1743-series will be available in a 15mm version with dual-port support and a 76 -- 112.50 -- 7.5mm form-factor.
