The new year has brought a new promotion to the table. For anyone with upcoming stays, I wanted to recap the details. There are typically no gaps when it comes to the promotions of the company.

The new global promotion called Points Unlimited allows members to earn 2,500 bonus points per stay.
There are more details to be aware of.
You must check out by May 1 to be eligible for the promotion.
If you booked prior to registration, it is fine.
There is no limit to how many bonus points you can earn, you can earn rewards with the first stay, and there is no minimum stay required.
It can take up to six to eight weeks for bonus points to be posted.
You can earn bonus points even if you don't win an award.

The bonus points are offered per stay.
How generous is the promotion? The math is easy. I value the points at just under half a penny each, so to me 2,500 points are worth about $12. I view it in a different way.
This promotion is decent for a short stay at an inexpensive property, but lackluster for longer stays, or stays at more expensive properties; that is especially true in comparison to the double and triple points promotion we saw in late 2021.
Bonus points can be earned even when you redeem points, which is great for award stays.

Paying with a co- branded Hilton American Express card will maximize your points earned from hotel stays. The cards earn points at the following rates.
You earn 34x Honors points per dollar spent, not including the 2,500 bonus points you can earn per stay with the new promotion, if you are a member of the Hilton Honors Diamond program.
The points earning rates for the hotel chain are pretty good.
The first global promotion of the company will be in 2022. You can earn 2,500 bonus points per stay with no minimum stay required and no cap on how many bonus points you can earn.
This is a weak promotion for those who don't stay long at inexpensive properties. If you have any upcoming stays, it is worth signing up.
