Betty White: 100 Years Young Documentary Will Be Released As Planned

The Betty White 100 Years Young documentary celebration will go on as planned. On January 17th, Betty White would have turned 100 years old, and she was inviting fans to celebrate with her in a once in a lifetime event.

Our hearts are heavy today with the passing of Betty White. Steve Boettcher and Mike Trinklein said in a statement that they developed a great love and admiration for Betty as a person, and as an accomplished entertainer. She brought so much joy to everyone. Betty said she was the luckiest broad on two feet to have had a career as long as she did. We were the lucky ones to have had her.
The statement concluded, "We will go forward with our plans to show the film on January 17 in hopes our film will provide a way for all who loved her to celebrate her life and experience what made her such a national treasure."

The documentary will show a glimpse into White's life, television career, and classic moments on The Golden Girls, SNL, Hot in Cleveland, The Proposal, and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. The film shows a look at her career and her thoughts on what was most important to her. Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey, Robert Redford, Lin Manuel- Miranda, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, Jay Leno, Carol Burnett, Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel, and dozens of other celebrity friends will offer their tribute.

The movie Betty White: 100 Years Young will be in select theaters on January 17.
