Betty White Dead At 99, Weeks Before Milestone Birthday

Multiple outlets reported Friday that Betty White, a beloved actress and comedian who was known for her decades-long career in the entertainment industry and roles in The Golden Girls and The Proposal, died weeks before her 100th birthday.

Jeff Witjas, White's agent, said in a statement that she would live forever, even though she was about to be 100.

Witjas said that White never worried about passing because she believed she would be with her husband again.
White's death was first reported.

On January 17, Betty White would have turned 100 years old, and she was going to release a film called Betty White: 100 Years Young - A Birthday Celebration.

White rose to fame on The Mary Tyler Moore Show before landing her most famous role as Rose in The Golden Girls, which ran from 1985 to 1992. She won an additional two for her appearances on Saturday Night Live and the John Larroquette Show. She appeared in comedies like The Proposal and You Again in the 2000s. White holds the record for the longest TV career for a female entertainer in the Guinness Book of World Records.
