The former king of mobile, theBlackBerry, should get one. As of January 4th, classic devices running OS 7.1 or earlier will lose key services. We mean absolutely crucial capabilities, like phone calls, texting, data and emergency access. Liliputing reports that you can expect to have issues with the apps. The company's PlayBook will end on January 4th.
This is not a surprise. The app store and Messenger service were shut down by the company. There wasn't any way to get back from that. The company was too late to respond to the threat of the iPhone, and failed to find much success by adopting the operating system. It still has QNX, the modern operating system that powers many popular car makers, and is still available.
