The driver who inspired "Let's go, Brandon" is now sponsored by a coin named after the anti-Biden chant.
Brandon Brown is a partner with LGBCoin. The meme coin's name will be plastered on Brown's Chevrolet Camaro, which is red, white, and blue.
Brown said in a statement that the financial support of LGBcoin was incredible and that it was a pivotal time in the team's growth. This past season was a roller coaster, from wondering if we would have the financial means to continue to compete, to my first major win, to becoming an unintentional meme.
The support of sponsors like LGBcoin allows us to be as competitive as possible and I'm looking forward to competing hard on the track in 2022.

Brown's name became a meme after he was interviewed by a reporter after a big win. The crowd behind him started chanting "Fuck Joe Biden" during the interview. The reporter said the crowd was chanting "Let's go, Brandon."
"Let's go, Brandon" was used by members of Congress as a way to criticize President Joe Biden.
Brown told The New York Times that he was worried about alienating fans and sponsors. He said he had no desire to be involved in politics.
"Our whole navigation is to appeal to everybody, because everybody is a consumer," Brown said. The whole race win was supposed to be a celebration, and then I was able to move up, and I really wanted to take advantage of that.
I had to stay more silent because everyone wanted it to go to the political side. He said he was about the racing side.
Brown was in need of a sponsor for the 2022 season, so he accepted the partnership with LGBCoin despite his hesitancy over the chant, according to the Sports Business Journal reporter.
Brown's team did not respond to Insider's requests for comment.
