It looks like the next flagship phone from the company, the S22 Ultra, will borrow a lot from the Note. The phone is a Note in every way except for its name, according to a leaked official render. A bigger screen with more surface to write on? Check. S Pen silo? Check. Is it a flat top and bottom? Yes. The layout from the S21 Ultra has a camera array around back.
I think the S21 Ultra was one of the boldest, best-looking phones that the company has ever produced. It had a large camera bump that looked good.

There is something a little more bland about the design of this device, and I am glad that it has room for the sensors. It looks like a Note 10 Plus or Note 20 Ultra with a new camera system, but maybe that is what some fans want. The S22 Ultra is looking pretty good in black, and it has also leaked out recently.
It is probably the right move to boost sales of the company's traditional phones. The S21 lineup disappointed in its retail performance, but the company is happy to talk up the momentum of foldables.
The S22 family should be announced sometime in February.
