Daxton Hill, an All-Big Ten selection, is not currently in Miami as the Michigan prepares to play Georgia in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl.

Harbaugh said that Hill's status is questionable and that he could join the team in time for Friday's game.

Harbaugh said during Thursday's news conference that he was working through something. We'll know more today about whether he'll be able to play.

Hill is second on the team with 65 tackles. He leads the team in pass breakups with seven.

When asked about Hill's availability, McNamara and Vastardis declined to speak.

McNamara said that it's not their job to comment on other players.

The Michigan defense is one of the best in college football, ranking fourth in points per game allowed.
