Telegram has updated its app for the iPad and iPhone with new features, including message reactions, translation, hidden text, and more.
Users can double tap on a message bubble and see a small thumbs up at the bottom of the message with the addition of reactions. You can change the emoji in the app. Hold on to a message bubble for more reactions.
Telegram now offers a way to hide text. When typing a message, tap on the text you want to hide, and then tap on the black popover menu. You can see the hidden text in a message if you tap it.
Telegram now has the ability to translate any message into another language. You can use the app to translate a message into your language by tapping and holding it. You can hide the translate button if you speak a lot of languages. This feature is required on the iPad and the iPhone.
The ability to generate themed QR codes for users with public usernames is a new feature. There are more interactive emoji that can be sent, like the fire and crying face.
