Can Tom Brady overcome injuries to win a second Super Bowl?

Marcus Spears doesn't believe in the ability of Tom Brady to win another Super Bowl. The song is called "2:07."

Only six playoff spots are assured in the 2021 NFL season, and there are just 32 games left. Amazingly, 24 teams are still in the playoffs. There are many permutations of how the rest of the regular season could play out and how the playoffs could shape up. We are predicting what will happen with chalk.

The most likely playoff field and seedings were determined using simulations from the Football Power Index. There is a chance that the following prediction will nail every team and every seed in the NFC and the same in the AFC. The probability of both conferences aligning is very low. That might seem low for a best-guess prediction, but that's how much uncertainty remains. These were the final results of our simulations. We're going to explain how we got there, with projected game scores for Week 17 and 18.

If the most likely scenario plays out, we'll break down the final two weeks of the season and the playoff field. Who was left out of the playoffs, who secured a division title or the No. 1 seed, and who was the one who secured a spot in the 14-team field? We take a quick look at what to expect in the playoffs. Let's dig.

Though their wild-card bid had already been locked up, the New England patriots were soundly beaten by the Dolphins in Miami. The Packers played Jordan Love at quarterback and lost to the Lions.

Mac Jones will not get out of the first round of the playoffs according to Marcus Spears.

The Kansas City Chiefs secured the top seed. K.C. won 10-6) and blew out the Broncos in Week 18. The Dolphins and Texans were the two teams the Titans beat to keep the pressure on the Chiefs. The top seed was given to the Chiefs because they won twice and finished 13-4, giving them a bye in the wild-card round. The Chiefs haven't had to play a wild-card game in the last three years.

The Bills beat the Pats in Week 16 and then beat the Dolphins in Week 18 to finish the season with two wins and win the division. The projection shows the Bills 75 combined points over the final two weeks, meaning the offense could enter the playoffs humming. This scenario gives us a third meeting between the Bills and the Pats in the wild-card round.

The Bengals won a tight race in the AFC North after a letdown in Week 17 after a big win in Week 16. Cincinnati scored six points in a loss. Losing helped mitigate the sting. The division title was still up for grabs in Week 18, but the Cincinnati Reds were able to defeat the Cleveland Indians 27-21. Cincinnati hasn't won a playoff game since 1990.

The Colts won their final two games here, but it didn't matter to the Tennessee team. The team went on to win out against their easy remaining schedule.

The tiebreakers give the No. 7 seed to the Bolts, and they both do. But that seventh seed? Things get interesting there. In this case, it's the Bolts that grab it, as they won a four-way tie with the Raiders, Dolphins and Ravens. The strength-of-victory tiebreaker seals the berth for Los Angeles. The Raiders, Dolphins, and Ravens all missed the playoffs after going 1-2 in their final two games. They would have earned a spot if they had won both of their games.

This team loses right, and that's what the Jacksonville Jaguars grab the top draft pick. For the second year in a row, the Jags earned the top pick. It's an inauspicious honor, though one that could land Jacksonville a star pass-rusher or a bunch of picks in a trade down. TheJaguars ended up with the top selection after a miserable year in which they lost to the Colts and the Pats.

Projecting the outcome of the game.

1. The Green Bay Packers are 13-4

2. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 13-4

3. The Dallas Cowboys are 12-5

4. The Los Angeles Rams have a 12-5 record.

5. The ArizonaCardinals (11-6) are a team.

6. The San Francisco 49ers have a winning record.

7. The Philadelphia Eagles have a losing record.

8. The New Orleans Saints have a losing record.

9. The Washington football team is 7-10).

10. The Minnesota Vikings are 7-10).

11. The Bears are 7-10).

12. The Atlanta Falcons are 7-10).

13. The Seattle Seahawks have a 6-10) record.

14. The Carolina panthers are 5-12.

15. The Detroit Lions are -12-1.

16. The New York Giants have a losing record.

The Packers secured the top seed in the playoffs in Week 17 when they defeated the Vikings by a single point. Green Bay had the better conference record and thus earned the bye despite losing to the Lions in Week 18. For the second year in a row, the playoffs roll through Lambeau Field.

Here's how the playoffs looks at the moment and what might happen in the future.

The Rams and the Cards won in Week 17 so the Rams take the West. The door for Arizona to beat Seattle in Week 18 was opened by the Rams, but it couldn't. Los Angeles won the division. The Rams and 49ers will play again in the wild-card round.

The Eagles beat out the Saints for the final spot, so it's just a question of the final two spots. The 49ers and Eagles will earn them, according to the FPI. The Texans and Rams were soundly defeated by San Francisco. The Eagles lost to the Cowboys in Week 18 but were able to beat the Saints in New Orleans earlier in the year. The Vikings lost twice in the final two weeks and the Saints fell short despite doing all they could.

What should we expect in the playoffs?

The wild-card round will have the following: (1) Bolts at (2)Titans, (2) Bills at (3)Patriots, (3) Eagles at (2) Buccaneers, and (3) 49ers at (3) Cowboys.

The Rams are at the Cardinals.

The most likely Super Bowl opponent would be the Packers and the Chiefs. Who could ruin the party? The Bills and Buccaneers are the best teams in their conferences, according to a report by the FPI.
