New Year's Day: Lincoln City-Ipswich Town added to list of coronavirus postponements

Portman Road was due to host its third home game of the festive period.

The New Year's Day game between Lincoln City and Ipswich has been added to the list of postponements.

The Imps are unable to fulfill the fixture because of a number of positive Covid-19 cases.

The game between Argyle and Wimbledon is off in League One.

The League Two match between Salford City and Tranmere Rovers has been called off.

On 2 January, there is a game called off for Sunderland.

The Imps had hoped that players would return to the squad after completing a reduced self-isolation period.

They would have been able to come out of self-isolation with a negative flow test after seven days. The tests are positive so we can't fulfill the fixture.

Those who have tested positive will have completed their self-isolation periods in time for our next fixture at home to Oxford United, which we expect to go ahead as scheduled.

The games were postponed because of the Covid-19 cases.
