Fett appeared in at least one story in the official comic after he appeared again in "Return of the Jedi" and was supposedly killed. He was added to the Special Edition of "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope" in 1997 because of his popularity. His story was expanded to include his father, Jango, who appeared in the Clone Wars. The rest is history.

After the success of "The Mandalorian", Jon and Dave Filoni have decided to incorporate the story of this bounty hunter into the story of another mercenary from Mandalore.

There will be eight episodes of "The Book of Boba Fett" on Disney+, with a new one dropping each week. The first and second seasons of "The Mandalorian" are available to watch on Disney+.
