Tom Brady spiked a Microsoft Surface tablet on the sideline as the Saints swept the Buccaneers for the second year in a row on Sunday Night Football.
Brady said on his Let's Go show that the NFL is not going to allow the Surface abuse to continue. He will be fined if he throws the tablet again. I was warned by the NFL about that. I will not throw another Surface. Brady said something.
Jim Gray joked that the whole incident was just good marketing for Microsoft, since the company won a deal to have all 32 teams use their tablets. Brady was asked by Gray if he could throw another Surface if he was fined by the NFL. Imagine that.
Brady joked on the Let's Go podcast that he didn't want to throw an intercept with the tablet, so he made sure it hit the ground. Brady said that the Surface was out of use after he got a hold of it.
I know it didn't look like it when I snapped that tablet in half, but I'm having a great time playing.
Brady threw a Surface in frustration against the Chicago Bears last season, and it looked like he had forgotten what he was doing, but he later admitted to it on TikTok.
It was probably a nurtured behavior coming from his legacy in New England that caused Brady to chuck the tablet.
