The Green Bay Packers quarterback won't take too long after this season to make a decision on his future.

Rodgers offered a glimpse into what his thought process will be while he decides what to do next season. He left all possibilities open, from returning to the Packers to playing for another team to retirement.

Rodgers said at the end of the answer that he wouldn't drag it out for months and months.

After the season, Rodgers said he will have conversations with his loved ones, with the Packers front office, and with coach Matt LaFleur and his staff.

Rodgers said he wouldn't hold the team back. It will be a quick decision if I commit and it commits to move forward here.

After the Packers' loss to the Buccaneers in last season's playoffs, Rodgers included himself in a group of players with uncertain futures. In April, Rodgers told people he didn't want to return to the Packers, according to an article by Adam Schefter. The situation was not fixed until the day before training camp opened. Rodgers detailed his grievances after returning to the team. He felt that he had not been involved in conversations that had an impact on his job.

After a slow start that included a 38-3 loss to the Saints in the opener, Rodgers has returned to anMVP level and the Packers have the best record in the NFL with two games to play. Rodgers has praised Gutekunst and his staff at different times this season.

Rodgers said he wouldn't rule out retirement, but he said this has been one of his favorite years of football.

Rodgers said that playing next year will definitely be in the thought process, and that he is enjoying this season. One of the things thatRodgers wants is to be able to play, even if he's not playing anymore. I think it's important to me. This year has taught me that I can still play, I still enjoy the game, and I'm still competitive.

Rodgers said he misses the daily grind of practice because he can't do it while he heals his toe.

Rodgers said that there will be a lot of things that he will weigh in the off-season. "Saying that doesn't mean, or any of the comments I've made, doesn't mean I'm thinking about playing elsewhere." The things that I've said about the team this year, about Brian's and I's relationship has been genuine, and I appreciate a lot of the things that I've seen from the team that are directly related to conversations we had in the off-season. I've enjoyed being a part of conversations that affect my job, which I talked about in the off-season, and Brian has taken the lead in that, and I do appreciate the way our relationship has grown.

I enjoy playing for Matt and have a lot of love for him. I like my teammates. The coaching staff makes it fun every day. You play for the guys. I'm just enjoying this year as much as possible.

Rodgers will be under contract through the next season. The Packers voided the final season of his contract after he came back.

Packers receiver Davante Adams is interested. He's in the last year of his contract. It's possible that he won't make a decision until Rodgers does, because negotiations on an extension broke down before the season.

Adams said that he was trying to enjoy it and just go play football, just like he said, because you never know what will happen. I love being a Packer. We'll see how it goes. I will be connected with '12'. If he goes, I'm not going to be here or I will be somewhere else. It's something we have to pay attention to.
