The New York Times reported that Republican Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Andrew Clyde have racked up more than $100,000 in fines for refusing to comply with the House of Representatives' mask mandate.
According to the report, Greene has incurred more than $80,000 in penalties and has been fined more than 30 times for violating mask rules, while Clyde has incurred at least $30,000 in penalties and has been fined at least 14 times.
The penalties are taken out of the lawmakers' paychecks. The House Ethics Committee usually puts out a press release announcing the fines of the two lawmakers, but they started announcing the fines in batches.

Massie told CNN that "Clyde only gets $1 of pay because he only went to payroll and had his federal withholding raised to $11,284 a month."

The Times asked for comment from a spokesman for the company.
