The Bills activated wide receiver Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis, offensive lineman Jon Feliciano, and defensive end A.J. Epenesa from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, giving them a huge boost ahead of Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Bills were able to bring back four players because of the new isolation time for players with COVID-19 agreed to by the NFL and NFL Players Association on Tuesday. If a player tests positive for COVID-19, he will be isolated for five days, unless he is symptom-free or has been exposed to something. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention gave this guidance.

The Bills have been meeting for two weeks.

"We've taken as many precautions as you can take," Sean said. I said last week that I was not sure what else you could do. The guys are only in for the most part for practice time, not treatments.

Under the previous 10-day isolation period, unvaccinated Davis and Beasley would not have been able to come off the list. Davis would not have been eligible for the game because he was added to the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday.

The Bills took the lead in the AFC East with a win over New England on Sunday, thanks to a career day from wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie, who set career highs in almost every receiving category.

The team has dealt with a variety of offensive line issues, and the return of Feliciano will be significant. Guard Boettger was placed on injured reserve due to an injury he suffered in the win over the Pats.

The Bills can make the playoffs with a win over the Falcons and some help from other teams.
