The company just made and released its first electric car, but it's ready to move fast, and leave the engines of old behind. The research center's combustion engine design unit was shut down, according to Korea Economic Daily sources. Some workers will still be working on existing engines, but the rest will move to EV-related work.
Chung-kook Park, the new research chief, said in an email that the transition will help produce cars that "dominate the future market." Park is correct. In South Korea, car sales will be banned by the year 2030.

'Final Fantasy' was delayed by half a year.
The spring of 2022 is when the reveal will be.
Final Fantasy fans were promised more information about the next game before the end of 2021. The game has been postponed. "When we last spoke, I promised I would have more information on Final Fantasy XII later in the year," Naoki Yoshida wrote. I regret to inform you that I will not be able to keep that promise, as the game's development has been delayed by almost half a year due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Don't call it an apology.
The last year was marked by a little bit of correction for the maker of the iPhone and Mac. The last few generations of MacBooks had keyboards that were problematic, and Apple decided to eliminate them and improve battery life for the entire range of iPhone 13 models.
Product repairs are the biggest change, but we won't see the significance until next year. Customers who want to fix their own phones will be able to purchase repair parts from Apple.

According to Mark Gurman, Apple has hired the head of Meta's public relations for its augmented reality headset. His weekly newsletter was published. As Apple nears its launch, it makes sense to hire Meta, who has been the market leader in headsets.
The Communications Director with Meta's Reality labs and comms lead for Oculus with Meta has been with the company for over a year.
Apple's potential augmented reality headset is the subject of a lot of rumors. A recent rumour said that the headset might depend on another device. It could be a device with dual 8K displays that costs up to $3,000. Gurman said that it would play high-quality virtual reality games.
