Delivery service DoorDash is making all its employees deliver at least once a month, but not everyone is happy about the initiative, and some employees have turned to an anonymous employee social platform to vent.

DoorDash's flagship employee engagement program is called WeDash, and it aims to have workers learn first-hand how the technology products we build empower local economies, which in turn helps us build a better product.
One DoorDash employee who reported a total annual compensation of $400,000 complained about the DoorDash initiative on the anonymous employee social platform Blind.
"Mandatory 'WeDash' starts next year." You have to dash once a month. Performance reviews will be tracked. What is it that the actual fuck is? I didn't sign up for this, there was nothing in the offer letter or job description.
The post generated over 1,600 comments. Blind did not respond to Insider's request for comment but a DoorDash employee told MarketWatch that the original post was from an employee and that the platform requires users to sign up using their work email addresses before they can post.
A blind user who works at eBay said it was not acceptable.
"And most of us would wave bye bye ," wrote another DoorDash employee.
DoorDash employees came to the program's defense.
We are excited. I get to better understand what I'm working on, and hopefully improve the experience for our dashers.
A DoorDash employee said that the task was not as big a deal as the original poster said, but that it should have been in the job description.

The WeDash programme was paused during the Pandemic, but has been around since the company's inception, according to a DoorDash spokesman. It's being restored.
