UCLA had just two interior defensive linemen and a converted linebacker as the back-up nose guard, though they were still going to play, despite the fact that they were having more COVID-19 issues pop up on Tuesday.

The latest bowl game to be canceled is due to COVID-19 concerns. The Military Bowl, the Arizona Bowl, and the Hawaii Bowl were all canceled.
A number of other bowl games have had to change because of the Pandemic as well. After Miami withdrew from the game, the Sun Bowl added Central Michigan to face Washington State, while the Gator Bowl added Rutgers to face Wake Forest.
UCLA and NC State were disappointed by Tuesday's cancellation. The Bruins had their first winning season under Kelly and were headed to a bowl game.

NC State has become an unfortunate storyline this year due to the postseason heartbreak for COVID-19 reasons. The team's baseball team had to pull out of the College Baseball World Series due to COVID-19 protocols in June, just a game away from reaching the final.
