Samsung’s C-Lab class features a diaper sensor, smart guitar and modular robot

A number of high-profile companies are opting out of the show. It always shows a good exhibition of the company's massive breadth in the electronics space, from TVs to washing machines to the occasional robot.

Over the past couple of years, the C-Lab division has been a secret weapon for the company, showcasing some of the projects built by the in-house incubator. C-Labs projects aren't always practical, but they are often fascinating.

They are things that are out of the scope of a tech colossus. Last year, the class included an artificial window. The C-Lab Inside, C-Lab Outside and projects that have effectively spun out from SAMSUNG are three categories this year.

The earliest of the three stages includes an artificial intelligence-powered phone app, Piloto, designed to improve device habits, as well as an exam service, PROBA, and a guitar with built-in LEDs. Outside is a South Korean startup accelerator that gives guidance. Nine companies are on that list. It was per Samsung.

Petnow is an artificial intelligence-based pet recognition solution.
A 3D audio solution for mobile devices.
There is an interactive metaverse music app.
There is an array of radar technology solutions for smart cities.
The SELECTSTAR platform is an artificial intelligence-based data collection and labelling platform.
