Indianapolis Colts put unvaccinated starting QB Carson Wentz on COVID-19 list

The Indianapolis Colts have placed starting quarterback Carson Wentz on the reserve/COVID-19 list, putting into question whether he'll be available for the game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

Before the season, he was on the COVID list.

As an unvaccinated player, he can be put on the COVID list if he tests positive. If he is close to him, he must be in a sterile environment for five days and return after that if he tests negative for the coronaviruses. He will be out for at least Sunday's game if he tests positive.

Sam Ehlinger is likely to step in if Wentz can't play.

"We have a plan for the whole team and a plan for certain individuals, which is why we have a plan for him," Reich said. I'm not going to say anything specific. Those things are being discussed.

The Colts won Saturday against the Arizona Cardinals despite missing their best offensive lineman and their best defensive player. The quarterback threw two touchdown passes.

The Colts are currently in the first wild-card spot.
