China Furious With Elon Musk for Endangering Its Space Station

Musk is making enemies.
It looks like he's capping off the year by pissing off the entire nation of China, an impressive feat even for him, after beefing with US senators, cabinet members, and fellow billionaires.
The United Nations was informed by China that the crew of its space station performed two evasive maneuvers in order to avoid a collision with the Starlink satellites. There were close calls on July 1 and October 21.

The UN Outer Space Treaty states that space-faring nations should inform each other of any "phenomena they discover in outer space" that could harm the life and safety of astronauts.
Your satellites almost killed our astronauts.
Falling objects.

The issue is related to two Starlink satellites that had lowered their altitudes. These processes are put in place for older satellites that are being destroyed.

The International Space Station has had to undergo evasive maneuvers many times due to Chinese anti-satellite missile tests. The latest complaint from China is proof that there is too much trash around.
The citizens are furious.

Chinese citizens have taken to social media to let their anger be known on Weibo, the country's version of Twitter.
One user said on the platform that the risks of Starlink are being gradually exposed and that the whole human race will pay for their business activities.

According to the news organization, the satellites were a pile of junk and even American space warfare weapons.

Musk has a warm relationship with Chinese citizens and the fury is about that. Threatening the lives of its astronauts is a solid way to destroy the good will you have developed with an entire country.

Chinese citizens slam Musk online after a space station near misses.

Musk fans are angry at him for being mean to the senator.
