Rock star Ozzy Osbourne will launch an NFT collection called 'CryptoBatz,' a nod to when he infamously bit the head off a bat in 1982

There is a person named "Ozzy Osbourne."

Larry Busacca is a photographer.

The legendary concert that was held nearly 40 years ago is what inspired the idea of a non-fungible token market.
A collection of 9,666 unique bats in the form of NFTs will be launched by the "Prince of Darkness" and former lead singer of Black Sabbath.
The collection will go on sale in January. Rolling Stone UK reported the news late Monday.

Every trait has been directed by the man. The announcement on the website said that these bats are not food and are in the metaverse.
"Cryptobatz" is a reference to a concert in Des Moines, Iowa, in which Sharon Osbourne bit the head off of a live bat. The incident took place at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium on January 20, 1972
The collection was created by the 73-year-old Osbourne. They say it will have a feature that will allow a bat to bite and a bat that shares the same digital DNA as the other token.
"I've been trying to get in on the NFT action for a while so when I asked Sharon for a Bored Ape for Christmas after several failed attempts of buying my own, and she said no, so I decided to create my own."
The market for NFTs, or digital representations of artwork, audio and other collectible items, enjoyed a booming market this year.

The best year for the market has yet to come, as the total NFT trading volume reached $23 billion in 2021.
