The Boeing 777 was on its way to DC from DC last week when the flight was going too fast for takeoff from the runway 30R. The aircraft was grounded for four days after it returned from a trip to the Middle East. The FAA is looking into something.
The plane remained on the ground until it reached at least 14500 feet past the runway threshold and 90 meters short of the localizer antennas, and then flew at least 75 feet AGL over the ground.

The plane sustained some damage in the departure. Four crew members were terminated.
On December 27th, the crew of the plane was sent an alert that the altitude setting was left at the airport.
According to One Mile at a Time, the plane was flying at over 200 mph after it pitched down after takeoff. The plane was flying at a very fast pace, and descending right after takeoff, which was lower than many high rises in the city.
The aircraft was inspected at Washington Dulles for cracks and also checked for wing, flap, and landing gear damage before being allowed to return to Dubai.
