The Block reported that a DAO wants to buy the business and create a film streaming service out of it. The name of the new DAO is BlockbusterDAO, and it intends to raise $5 million to purchase the movie rental company from Dish Network. The company wants to raise cash by selling NFTs for 0.13 ETH.
The price tag is going to be higher to beat out any counter-offers, according to the creator of the DAO. In 2021, groups were able to achieve a common goal with the help of the DAOs. They use NFTs, governance token or other forms of cryptocurrencies to vote on the decisions and raise funds for the DAO.
