The second day of the third Test is in Melbourne.
Cummins 3-36, Lyon 3-36, and Starc 2-11 were the players who were included in the England 185.
Australia has 267 Harris, Warner, and Anderson.
England is behind by 51 runs.
The scorecard is a summary of what happened.
Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland were the stars of the second day of the third Test in Melbourne, as they took 18 and 17 runs respectively.
James Anderson took 4-33 as England's bowlers fought back to reduce Australia to a lead of just 82.
In the final hour of the match, Starc removed Zak Crawley and Dawid Malan in consecutive balls to leave England reeling at 7-2.
Haseeb Hameed tried to overcome the opening burst from Starc and Cummins, only to edge behind off debutant Boland, before nightwatchman Jack Leach was caught shouldering arms two balls later.
This was more a reflection of Australian bowling than a top order failure.
The England players were forced to wait before travelling to the ground because of positive Covid-19 tests in their travelling party.
Both sets of teams will do the tests before the start of the third day.
Australia run riot.
England's batting has come under scrutiny in every game of the series so far.
Their first-innings 185 all out was a disaster, but Monday's late collapse was very different.
Starc and Cummins were a part of the coliseum from the first ball.
They had the ball swinging and seaming all over the arena and the inexperienced Hameed and newly-recalled Crawley stood little chance opening the batting.
In front of a rowdy crowd, it was compelling to watch.
Cummins was unlucky to be the only one to go for a duck, but he built the pressure to allow Starc to have Crawley caught behind, and then to have Malan LBW one ball later.
The man survived the attack. He was dodging and ducking around the crease, but he was hanging on.
Boland had other ideas. He was inspired by the Starc and Cummins and found the same nagging line and seam movement as he saw Hameed edging behind, and Jack Leach was bewildered as he lost his off stump trying to leave the ball on length.
The Test, series and urn are at stake when play restarts on Monday.
More to come.
