The Baltimore Ravens defense didn't deserve the same type of defense as the Green Bay Packers duo of Rodgers and Adams, according to Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Wink Martindale.
Adams is one of the top two players in the league, and he's not No. 2. I don't think we're ready to buy a gold jacket for Joe because he's a Hall of Fame quarterback.
After a 41-21 win over the Ravens, Burrow told reporters he was aware of the comments and said it may have been on his mind while passing for more than 500 yards.
"I didn't think it was necessary to say it," he said. I wouldn't say I was offended by it. I'm in year two. Who knows what's going to happen in the future.
The defensive end of the Cincinnati Reds had some choice words for the man.

The game on Sunday was the best of the young career of Burrow. It was his first game with 500 or more passing yards. He finished with 525 yards and four scores, as well as two carries for 11 yards.
Chase had seven catches for 125 yards. The best receiver in Cincinnati was Tee Higgins, who had 12 catches for 194 yards and two touchdown.
In a 31-30 loss to the Packers last weekend, the Ravens triple-teamed Adams and forced him into some different routes. He was held to just six catches for 44 yards and a touchdown, and it was his least productive game since a Week 9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Ravens did double- and triple-team Chase at times on Sunday, but that didn't stop Burrow from putting together a monster performance. Cincinnati had three receivers with at least 700 yards on the season. The Packers had one in Adams.
In October, Burrow threw for 416 yards and three touchdown in a 41-17 win over the Ravens. That is the second-best performance of his career.
Entering Sunday, only four quarterbacks had thrown for more than 400 yards and three touchdown against the Ravens in a single game: Manning, Brady, and Eli Manning. That puts him in a group of elite people.
The Ravens dropped to 8-7. Cincinnati has beaten Baltimore in both meetings in the last two years.
The Ravens have a 33 percent chance of making the playoffs, while the Bengals have a 77 percent chance.
