Tom Brady and the Buccaneers won the division title on Sunday with a 32-6 win over the Carolinas, despite not having a lot of star power.

They were without Pro Bowl wide receiver Mike Evans and running back Leonard Fournette. They were without several players on defense, including outside linebackers Lavonte David and Antoine Winfield Jr., and outside linebackers Shaquille Barrett and Pierre-Paul.

Antonio Brown was active for the first time since Week 6 due to an ankle injury and had 101 receiving yards on 10 catches, along with Cyril Grayson, who had just one catch for the season prior to Sunday.

They turned to Ronald Jones II, who was demoted by Fournette for the starting running back role last season, and Ke'Shawn Vaughn, who had rushed for just 50 yards on the season. The longest rushing score of the year was given to the Bucs on the second drive of the game, when Vaughn ran 55 yards for a touchdown.

Brady found Brate on a slant route for a 4-yard touchdown in the second quarter to make it 19-6), with the Bucs showing far heavier tight end usage after one of the unit's worst performances of the season last week. Jones scored on a 7-yard run in the third quarter.

The offense of the Bucs was an embarrassment of riches. They put up 30 points a game even without Brown and Gropp.

The team could have won the division with a win but lost to the Saints. Two catches shy of 100 for the season, and Evans and Fournette went down with injuries, and the rest of the team suffered. Evans' hopes of returning by the end of the regular season are slim after Fournette went to injured reserve. The hopes of a repeat Super Bowl were jeopardized by David going to IR with a foot injury.

Brown and Brady were on different pages on a third-down pass on the opening drive, and there were a few mistakes and rust. Brate wasn't on the same page with Brady at the Carolina 4-yard line, and Brady and Gronkowski failed to connect on a corner route in the end zone.

The defense gave up a 33 yard run to CamNewton on the first drive. The Carolinas would have scored a touchdown on their opening drive if Ameer Abdullah hadn't tripped on the left tackle's feet. Sam Darnold found a wide-open Shi Smith for a 63-yard completion.

Brown was a difference-maker on third down, and Jordan Whitehead had an intercept on a pass intended for Tommy Tremble. The defensive linemen, along with the outside and inside linebackers, combined for a season-high seven sacks.
