Attorney Lin Wood and his network say that anti-vax podcaster Doug Kuzma has contracted the coronaviruses and is currently in a Virginia hospital.
According to a Telegram message on Friday, Wood said that Kuzma contracted COVID-19 after attending the right-wing "ReAwaken America" event.
Wood wrote that Doug had taken a turn for the worse. His lungs are not responding to treatment.
Frog News said in a series of Telegram messages that Kuzma has been "sedated and on a ventilator."
A Frog News Telegram said that Doug was unconscious and unable to respond to calls or messages.
The Dallas event was part of a national tour of right-wing speakers, including Michael Flynn, who was Trump's former national security advisor. The speakers spread misinformation about voter fraud and the coronaviruses at the event.
Since vaccines became available to the public, a lot of other conservative people have contracted the coronaviruses, which are anti-vaccine. Seven of them died this year.
