According to a source, the Kansas City Chiefs Pro Bowl tight end did not clear protocols on Sunday morning and will not play against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Kansas City Chiefs added Kelce and two other players to their active roster in order to clear the league's concussion protocols in time for their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Chiefs will be without at least six players on Sunday. Kicker Harrison Butker and punter Tommy Townsend are two of the people in that group. Johnny, the brother of Townsend, was promoted to punt against the Steelers after the team signed Elliott Fry as its kicker.
