The Indianapolis Colts were dealt a blow just hours before their game against the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday when they placed three players on the reserve/CVID-19 list.
Both Leonard and Willis are in the starting lineup.
The Colts were shorthanded for Saturday's game. Left guard Quenton Nelson, right guard Mark Glowinski, Rock Ya-Sin, and defensive end Kemoko Turay are also on the reserve list. Ryan Kelly will not play in the game after the death of his infant daughter.
The Colts will be without Leonard, Nelson, and other unvaccinated players for their Week 17 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Leonard, Nelson, and Kelly were named to the Pro Bowl team. Leonard, the leader on the Colts' defense, has over 100 tackles, six forced turnovers, six turnovers, three picks and two turnovers on the season.
Nelson and Kelly are the anchor of the offensive line that has helped Jonathan Taylor lead the NFL in rushing yards and rushing touchdown.
The Colts went into Saturday as the fifth seed in the playoffs, having won five of their last six games. They are not a lock to make it, especially if COVID continues to hit the team's key players. There are only one loss between the teams that are fifth through 13th.
