The Sierra Nevada Mountains of California had a heavy snowfall on Friday, December 24, as a winter storm warning was in effect. The lab said that more than 24 inches of snow fell in the 24 hours up to 8 am Friday. The first floor door is almost gone under the snow. There will be more snow over the next 72 hours.
