I was going to start this list with a game. The latest game in the sci-fi first-person shooter franchise has a large campaign and a free-to-play mode. In terms of how it stacks up to the classics, Infinite certainly delivers plenty of nods to its past, while providing Master Chief with crisp, detailed visuals and new tools, like a grappling hook, that make the game feel refreshing.
Game Pass has both the campaign and multiplayer modes. If you don't want to subscribe to Game Pass, you can pay $60 for the entire game.

The sequel to the cult classic platformer, Psychonauts 2, was a big hit when it was released on the Xbox consoles. It retains the lighthearted yet slightly uneasy aesthetic that is reminiscent of some of the weirder cartoons that used to air on Nickelodeon. The game has a mix of platforming and collecting items that feels focused compared to the way many games are built today. The game is fun in itself, but the level design and great writing make it a must-play.
