AT&T coverage for less.

Cricket is one of the cheapest ways to gain access to the AT&T network, with a range of unlimited and limited plans that work for just about any customer.

AT&T.

One of the largest and fastest networks was built by AT&T. Cricket customers will have access to the vast majority of the AT&T network; as long as things don't get too crowded, similar speeds are possible. The network has great compatibility with unlocked phones, making it a quick choice to get connected.

Cricket Wireless will no longer limit the speed of your data connection depending on which plan you choose. If you have a compatible phone, coverage has been updated to allow 5G on every plan.

AT&T's network doesn't include all of Cricket's plans for 5G. Cricket only allows unlimited more customers and data only plans to use the next-gen network, which is why other carriers have been quick to implement it. Cricket is one of the cheapest ways to test out 5G on AT&T.

The plans are in the Cricket Wireless Buyer's Guide.

Cricket has four main plans for phones and they all come with unlimited talk and text in the U.S., as well as access to Cricket Call Defense. Cricket Call Defense is designed to identify and block fraudulent calls. All of Cricket's plans get a $5 autopay discount.

Multi-line discounts are available when you bring the whole family. It's up to five lines.

Cricket Wireless.

Cricket's unlimited plans have usage in Mexico and Canada. Canada usage must stay under 50%. It's great for people who travel to Mexico or Canada frequently and don't want to watch to switch.

Cricket Wireless has a buyer's guide.

You can buy a new phone from Cricket. Cricket has a wide range of phones, including high-end devices like the S20 FE. The attractive Moto One 5G is a mid-range device. Financing is available if you need it.

AT&T's network is one of the best in the world because unlocked phones work well. Any unlocked device will work.

Cricket Wireless.

5G support is more restricted. As of December 2021, the Cricket Dream 5G, the Moto one 5G, the A32 5G, and the S20 FE are supported. It's best not to bet on unofficial support just yet, though other devices may work with the proper settings. Don't be surprised if your device only connects to the internet. Especially with AT&T's limited 5G footprint.

Do you use Cricket?

If you live and work in an area with good coverage, you should try out a carrier. Premium data is one of the main reasons to go for AT&T postpaid. The data is prioritized over other data. Cricket customers may see their speeds plummet if a tower is very congested, while AT&T customers may not. For most people, it won't be much of a deal. It can be hard to predict because it comes down to your area.

If you decide that Cricket isn't a good fit, you're not locked into it.

There's more competition if you're looking at other carriers. For less money, Mint Mobile offers similar data amounts. It has great 5G coverage since it's based on T-Mobile.

Cricket is still one of the best carriers you can get, even if you bring more than one line, because of the unlimited plans.
