According to court documents reviewed by Insider, former President Donald Trump's spokesman Taylor Budowich provided the House select committee with at least 1,700 pages of documents and sat for four hours of sworn testimony.
Budowich and Conservative Strategies, Inc. are suing the committee, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, JP Morgan, and other individual members of the committee over a subpoena for his financial records from JP Morgan. The move is being argued as a violation of the Financial Privacy Act.
Budowich "answered questions regarding payments made and received regarding his involvement in the planning of a peaceful, lawful rally to celebrate President Trump's accomplishments," according to the filing.

The committee issued subpoenas to Trump loyalists for their alleged roles in January.
The House select committee wanted to question Budowich about funding for a 501(c)(4) promoting the January 6 rally, where Trump spoke, before the Capitol riot.
Insider was unable to reach Budowich for comment.
