The Boston Celtics had another five players officially enter the NBA's health and safety protocols Friday afternoon, further battering one of the hardest-hit rosters in the league.

Boston's official count of players in protocols to 12 has been increased to 12 with the addition of guard C.J. Miles, forward C.J. Nesmith and center Bruno Fernando.

Five plus guard Josh Richardson and forwards Sam Hauser and Grant Williams will not play in Saturday's game. Four other people are questionable to play because of the protocols that they entered last week.

Marcus Smart and Romeo Langford are questionable because of injuries.

The Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks are all playing on Christmas Day without their regulars.
