NASA has had a lot of delays for the James Webb Space Telescope. The successor to Hubble Space Telescope is scheduled to take flight on Saturday, December 25th.

On Christmas Day, the Ariane 5 rocket carrying the JWST is expected to lift off from the Guiana Space Center in French Guiana. You can watch the entire event beginning at 3AM. NASA will broadcast the launch on its website, as well as on social media.

There is a lot of excitement for the JWST to make its way into space. A successful launch will represent the end of a 14-year development cycle and will allow the telescope to see black holes and early galaxies in a way they haven't been able to do in the past.
