The Chicago Bears will have a new starting quarterback in Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks with Nick Foles taking over for the injured Justin Fields.

If Fields isn't cleared to play, Ryan Willis will be elevated from the practice squad.

The Bears got their wish when they selected Fields with the 11th pick in the draft, but also elevated him to the starting role in Week 3 due to an injury to Dalton.

Fields hasn't been set up for success right away. The offensive line has been bad and Nagy was not able to tailor the offense to the rookies skill set.

Through 12 appearances, the Ohio State product has thrown for 1,870 yards, seven touchdown and 10 interceptions. Over the course of the year, he has had injuries to his ribs and hand.

Fields has been one of the better quarterbacks in the draft class, which is an endorsement of his play and an indictment of his fellow first-year signal-callers.

The Bears are already assured of their first losing season in two years, and they could be looking at a coaching change in the off-season. Fields has had another injury this year.

The Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl LII winning quarterback started seven games for the Bears last season. He will regain the top spot on the depth chart for at least one week as he makes his first appearance in 2021.
