CES 2022 loses another key exhibitor as Intel pulls out of in-person show

Intel withdrew from the show due to rising COVID-19 concerns. One of the biggest tech companies at the show is the company. Intel is not the only company skipping this year's show in-person.

Jean Foster, head of marketing and communications at the Consumer Technology Association, told The Verge that the organization remained committed to hosting the conference in Las Vegas, despite the fact that many people cannot attend in person. The conference had received 42 cancellation at the time, for less than 3% of the exhibit floor, but it also added 60 new exhibitors recently, along with thousands of additional registration.

Many major companies have pulled out of attending this year's conference in person, but key participants like GM and SAMSUNG are still going to present keynotes at the conference, at least for now.
