Ferran Torres: Barcelona agree £55m transfer deal to sign Man City forward

Barcelona and Manchester City have agreed on a deal that could be worth over fifty million dollars.

The Spanish side will pay an initial amount of over 50 million dollars. The add-ons are said to be more or less guaranteed.

It means City will have made at least £26m (32m) on a player they paid Valencia around £20m for in 2020.

They have not paid any of the add-ons due to the fact that Valencia has only been at the Etihad for a short time.

Barcelona have money to spend in January after recently receiving a sizeable investment via a bank loan for one of Spain's rising talents.

There are rumors of a Manchester City transfer.

City officials including Txiki Begiristain used to work for Joan Laporta at the club.

The 21-year-old has played in four games in the premier league this season.

City want to keep him and he has recently returned to some of his best form in a City shirt, which is why they want to keep him.

He has only played in the top flight four times this season, scoring twice and once in the top flight.

He has been out since October with a foot injury.

The latest on Barcelona's pursuit of Manchester City's forward is provided by Spanish football expert, Alvaro Montero.

According to Spanish football expert Alvaro Montero, Barcelona are able to finance the deal because they have a flexible payment structure with Manchester City.

In the last few weeks, they have leaked to the press they have got some savings, and there is a bank credit for Barcelona signed with Goldman Sachs. "That means a little bit of cash, but not enough to pay that amount of money."

They have a good agreement with Manchester City. Barcelona will pay for this transfer in three, four, and five years.

"To fulfill this move, Barcelona believe one or two players may leave."
