Mystery Deepens About Whether Elon Musk Actually Lives in Prefab Box

The more we know about Musk's home, the more confused the story becomes.

After a damning Wall Street Journal report suggested the world's richest man may actually be living in his buddy's multi-million-dollar Austin mansion instead of a prefabricated hovel like he claims, theTesla and SpaceX CEO denied the claim.

Ken Howery, the co- founder of PayPal, told BI that Elon does not live at his home. He was a guest at the house when he traveled to Austin.

The final clause states that Musk has occasionally been a guest at Howery. It is possible that the world's richest man is living in a small shack by the US-Mexico border. It could mean that he stays there all the time.

Musk simply called the WSJ report false, which was much less equivocating.

He said that he doesn't live there and isn't looking to buy a house anywhere.

Because he is a troll, Musk was able to mock the report that said that a man worth more money than the GDP of North Korea living in a rented shack would make more sense.

Musk was going to deny the WSJ's claim, which, let's be honest, isn't exactly Pentagon Papers material. The people who spoke to the WSJ on the background of the alleged secret real estate hunt said that Musk was trying to keep it quiet. The newspaper chose not to print it if they were unsure about what purpose it was for.

We are stuck in the fuzzy grey area of an incredibly goofy story, even by Musk standards.

Does Musk live below his means for some reason? Is it a play to make him seem more normal? The world may never know.

A report that Musk was staying in a $12 million Austin estate owned by aPayPal Mafia member is false.

More on Muskbrag, that he is paying more taxes than anyone else.
