Texas A&M will be replaced by Rutgers in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, according to sources.
The video Rutgers posted on Thursday said they were going to the Gator Bowl, but didn't specify the game.
The university said it was better late than never.

Texas A&M withdrew from the game because of issues that affected its roster of available players. Texas A&M has 38 scholarship position players, of which 20 are offensive and defensive linemen, according to the athletic director.
The Scarlet Knights were eliminated from bowl consideration a week after their last game.
Rutgers has not played in a bowl game in over two years, the second-longest streak among Power 5 teams.
According to sources, Illinois wants to replace Texas A&M.
